revert Reth support to v1.8.4

Version 1.9.0 is broken:

    https://github.com/paradigmxyz/reth/issues/19566

Note that v1.9.1, providing the fix for v1.9.0, also has issues:

    https://github.com/paradigmxyz/reth/releases/tag/v1.9.1
